As Halloween approaches, I know the hosts of the friend groups are already plotting ideas for a Halloween-themed party and event at their home. That is why I am here to give you a few delicious Halloween recipes to add to your party menu. Whether you’re going for a more brunch-centric spread, some simple snacks, or a sit-down dinner, these items should be a fantastic addition to your plate!
Spider Spaghetti Squash
This spaghetti squash recipe is a great dish for Halloween parties. It mimics pasta as it is spaghetti squash with marinara sauce. It also has black bean meatballs shaped like spiders, topped with parmesan, parsley, and basil. To make this delicious and spooky Halloween dish, check out this spaghetti squash recipe and this black bean meatball recipe.
Mummified Jalapeño Poppers
Another delicious dish that is perfect for Halloween is jalapeño poppers, which are decorated to look like mummies. These jalapeños are stuffed with an egg, bacon, and a cheese mixture. They are also wrapped in puff pastry and drizzled with cilantro and lime crema. Yum! You can find the recipe for the jalapeño poppers here. Also, I suggest you drizzle cilantro and lime crema over the poppers, which you can use this recipe for.
Chick o' Treat Waffles
While you probably wouldn't think of including Honey Nut Cheerios in your Halloween party lineup, they work wonderfully in this recipe! These Honey Nut Cheerio breaded chicken tenders are not only sweet but also have a crunchy texture.
I highly suggest you add these chicken tenders on top of a small stack of waffles drizzled with maple syrup and hot honey. Also, the hot honey is incredibly easy to make; simply mix Sriracha and honey together. (The more Sriracha you add, the spicier the honey will be!) You can find the recipe for the Honey Nut Cheerio chicken here and a yummy waffle recipe here.
Freaky Flatbread
Another "spooktacular" Halloween recipe is delicious freaky flatbread. To make this dish, simply top some pizza dough with apple butter, prosciutto, cranberries, and goat cheese. Then, cook the flatbread dough in the oven. Also, I recommend you garnish it all with arugula after the bread is fully cooked. You can find the dough recipe here.
Jack-o'-Lantern Stuffed Peppers:
A final Halloween-themed dish is Jack-o'-Lantern stuffed peppers. This dish is delicious, and it couldn't be easier to make. All you have to do is fill some orange bell peppers with a combination of ground turkey, rice, onions, and cheese, topped with basil. You can find the full recipe here.
