While the lingering fog and sporadic rain may make you feel like winter is never-ending, Starbucks has decided that it's officially the season of flowers and new beginnings. On Monday, Starbucks announced that their spring menu would be available starting March 4th. However, what new treats await in this menu?

As expected, Starbucks' 2025 spring menu features the return of lavender beverages. First launched in 2024, Starbucks' lavender-based beverages have been a massive success, with the Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, an especially popular drink. Patrick Penny, a Starbucks beverage developer, stated last year that "when creating the new Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, we wanted to capture the uplifting energy of spring in a cup." And their team succeeded! With vibrant purple and green colors, Starbucks' lavender drinks aren't just delicious, but also aesthetic.

That's why it's great to hear that lavender drinks have returned for 2025. The Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha is an iced drink made with creamy matcha and oat milk. It's also finished with the sweetness of the lavender cream cold foam. The second lavender drink is the Iced Lavender Latte, which is made from lavender powder, oat milk, ice, and Starbucks' sweet Blonde Espresso. Finally, Starbucks is offering a Lavender Crème Frappuccino Blended Beverage. This drink blends the sweet and floral notes of lavender with milk, ice, and vanilla syrup. It is also topped with whipped cream, making it similar to a lavender milkshake. If you'd like to try lavender without changing up your go-to order, you can also customize practically any beverage with Lavender Cream Cold Foam while supplies last. For a limited time, you'll also be able to do the same with their new Cherry Cream Cold Foam.

Yes, this spring Starbucks is introducing a cherry-flavored drink. The new Iced Cherry Chai contains black tea infused with cinnamon and other warming spices, mixed with milk and ice. It's then topped with a handful of cherry crunch topping and the new cherry cream cold foam. “When you take a sip of Iced Cherry Chai, you immediately get a creamy texture, warm spices, and notes of cherry—and it all comes together in an approachable way,” said Billy Altieri, the lead beverage developer for Starbucks.

If you visit Starbucks more for their lunch offerings than their drinks, don't be disappointed, as this spring's menu offers an all-new Jalapeño Chicken Pocket. Joining the permanent menu, the Jalapeño Chicken Pocket is stuffed with "diced chicken, charred poblanos, green jalapeños, three-chile-pepper cheese, and jalapeño cream cheese, wrapped in a toasted chile lavash flatbread.

Overall, Starbucks' 2025 spring menu features various delights, from sweet drinks to spicy chicken pockets. So, whatever your taste buds crave, Starbucks has a little something for you to enjoy.
